Project Scheduler

I am looking for a Project Scheduler preferably who is comfortable in cold climates since the position is in Moscow for 12-15 months then in Sakhalin Island for another 12-15 months. Below is the information on the position. This position is for the Offshore Pipeline contract which may be awarded in late March, early April. Some of the Offshore Project Team may begin to mobilize to Moscow (detail engineering) as early as April. Project Scheduler should be on board prior to April so he/she could have some exposure to the Project (in Houston) prior to moving to Moscow. There would probably be a 12 to 15 month stay in Moscow and then the Pipeline Project Team would move to Sakhalin Island for 12 to 15 months.

Requirements

• Assist Area Supervisors in managing the schedule/project controls activities within the assigned areas
• Coordinate with C&S Technology, OBO Asset Coordinators, Development Planning and other groups as needed to ensure timely completion of required work deliverables associated with assigned projects

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead / Coordinate effort for:
 - Project Schedule review process through project Gates and Check Points
 - Preparation of Check Schedules to compare with OBO Operator-prepared submittals
 - Ad hoc Schedule assessments (verification of project schedule bases)
• Assist Area Supervisor with analysis and planning for C&SD Schedule staffing requirements
• Mentor less experienced group members and ensure the technical quality of work
• Assist Area Advisors with updates of Monthly Project Status Summary Report (PSSR)

Must Have:

• BS in Engineering required; MBA, MS Engineering Management, or MS Senior professional position with extensive schedule estimate development experience
• 10+ years experience
• Expert to advanced level proficiency in Cost Estimating, Project Planning and Project Controls
• Strong Influencing, Consulting, Mentoring, Analytical, and Computing skills
