JMWA/RKCI JV is searching for an Eng Tech / Contract Admin II for our client site in San Antonio, TX!

Description:

• Provide a wide variety of technical support required in the management of construction activities primarily contract administration.
• Assist other technicians in the use of highly specialized computer software used in the performance of contract administration/scheduling.
• Use practical knowledge of engineering practices and techniques utilized in the construction of a wide variety of standard and specialized projects.
• Review engineering documents (e.g., plans and specifications, design analysis, contract estimates), in preparing modifications and claims packages to construction contracts.
• Perform quantity take-offs, conduct field investigations to gather data, prepare government estimates and scope of work for contract changes, and advise the Government in negotiating modifications.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in appropriate field or equivalent specialized work experience required.
• Minimum of ten years specialized experience as a Contract Admin technician required.
• Resume must reflect the specialized experience required to qualify for the position.
• USACE construction experience is highly desired.
• MILCON and/or Civil experience are highly desired.
• Local candidates strongly preferred.
