Perform analytical testing of finished dosage pharmaceutical products and/or raw materials following analytical methodology.
Read and interpret analytical methodology and the USP.
Follow cGMP, cGLP, and USP requirements.
Maintain accurate, detailed records of work performed.
Proficient at peer review of laboratory documentation.
Assist in ensuring testing is in adherence to schedules through team oriented processes.
Operate basic analytical instrumentation.
Follows Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
B.S. in Chemistry or related Science required.
One year of relevant laboratory experience required.
Proficient in HPLC preferred.
Working Knowledge of HPLC, GC, TLC, FTIR, UV and/or other spectroscopic methods.
Strong knowledge of cGMP and USP requirements in a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory.
Strong computer skills including MS office.
Ability to perform calibrations and troubleshoot instrumentation as needed.
Ability to perform and meticulously document work.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail, self-driven and motivated.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, handling multiple projects at one time and change priorities based on business needs.
Able to work effectively, independently and as part of a team.
Able to work overtime and weekends when required.
